String Light Cinematography Tips
String light cinematography is something I’ve been excited to make a video about for quite a while now, because I think they are a LOT of fun to work with! Using string lights can be a cheap, simple and effective way to add depth or a lot of light to your images. The big issue with using string lights is that they are a bit cliche at times, so working with your production design to incorporate them into the world is important so that they don’t stick out sorely. Using filters, bokeh, and different lighting styles are also useful ways to differentiate your look when using string lights. And, ultimately, string lights are CHEAP!
