BLACK BLOOD

Description: This is a touching, experimental, self-reflexive documentary – narrative film hybrid by Jarrod white. I co-DP’d the film with him, and together we used a combination of a modern digital camera and my self-created experimental film emulating camera. I had designed and build this camera system on the base of a 20 year old DV camcorder with the goal of capturing the feeling of digitally transferred 16mm or 8mm film stock. This film’s unique structure and feeling proved to be a great use to show off what my experimental camera was capable of capturing. (The film is also available to watch at Cinistream.com)
