I Won’t Tell You What To Do – “Have To” Titles Suck
Watching the video will probably be easier, but the long and short of it is: I am not here to tell you that you need a specific piece of gear, a camera, a light, a style, a technique, etc. to be a successful filmmaker or artist. And, I certainly am not going to tell you that so I get clicks. The way I make video is I talk about something and WHY it can, maybe should, be used for certain results. Your job is to take that info an apply it to your project, and to your story. Anything other than informing and teaching concepts, and particulalrly the idea of leading people to ditch styles they use, or gear they own, just feels wrong to me. Watch the video for more thoughts and examples, and as always, try to do something kind for someone this week!
